These Terms of Service govern your use of the TheChap Global website (thechapglobal.com) and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site.

2. Products and Pricing

All products are handcrafted in small batches in Austin, Texas under the Texas Cottage Food Law. Products are food items and are subject to the regulations governing cottage food production in Texas.

• Prices are displayed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice
• Product descriptions and ingredient lists are accurate to the best of our knowledge
• Product images are representative — actual appearance may vary slightly batch to batch
• We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time

If you have a food allergy, please review ingredient lists carefully before purchasing. Contact us if you need clarification about any ingredient.

3. Orders and Payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of order
• You will receive an order confirmation email once payment is successful
• Discount codes are single-use unless stated otherwise and cannot be combined
• We are not liable for orders placed using fraudulently obtained discount codes

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Orders ship within 2 business days of payment confirmation
• Free shipping applies to US orders over $40 after discounts
• International shipping is available — rates calculated at checkout
• Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
• We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier

5. Returns and Refunds

We want you to love every blend. If you are not satisfied:

• Contact us within 30 days of delivery at hello@thechapglobal.com
• Unopened products may be returned for a full refund (excluding original shipping)
• Opened products: if there is a quality issue, we will replace or refund at our discretion
• We do not accept returns of food products that have been opened without a quality complaint
• Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days

6. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use this site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the site without permission
• Resell our products without prior written consent

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, brand names, blend names, recipes, and the TheChap Global name and logo — is our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheChap Global shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is stated on product labels.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
