These Terms of Service govern your use of the TheChap Global website (thechapglobal.com) and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site.

2. Products and Pricing

All products are handcrafted in small batches in Austin, Texas under Texas Cottage Food Law (Tex. Health & Safety Code § 437.020). This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the state or local health department. Sales are limited to direct-to-consumer transactions within the state of Texas. By placing an order, you confirm that your delivery address is located within Texas.

• Prices are displayed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice
• Product descriptions and ingredient lists are accurate to the best of our knowledge
• Product images are representative — actual appearance may vary slightly batch to batch
• We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time

If you have a food allergy, please review ingredient lists carefully before purchasing. Contact us if you need clarification about any ingredient.

3. Orders and Payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of order
• You will receive an order confirmation email once payment is successful
• Discount codes are single-use unless stated otherwise and cannot be combined
• We are not liable for orders placed using fraudulently obtained discount codes

4. Shipping and Delivery

• We ship to Texas addresses only. Orders with non-Texas delivery addresses will be cancelled and refunded
• Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation
• Free delivery applies to Texas orders over $40 after discounts
• Local Austin pickup is available at no charge — select at checkout
• Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
• We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier
• We do not ship outside Texas or internationally

5. Returns and Refunds

We want you to love every blend. If you are not satisfied:

• Contact us within 30 days of delivery at hello@thechapglobal.com
• We will issue a full refund, replacement, or store credit — your choice
• You do not need to return the product to receive a refund or replacement
• Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
• We do not charge restocking fees

6. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use this site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the site without permission
• Resell our products without prior written consent

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, brand names, blend names, recipes, and the TheChap Global name and logo — is our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheChap Global shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is stated on product labels.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

11. Geographic Restriction

TheChap Global operates under Texas Cottage Food Law (Tex. Health & Safety Code § 437.020) and is authorized to make direct-to-consumer sales within the state of Texas only. By placing an order, you represent that your shipping or delivery address is located within Texas. Orders placed with a non-Texas delivery address will be cancelled and fully refunded. TheChap Global reserves the right to cancel any order that does not comply with this geographic restriction.
